K&W, in all of its glory!. The tradition continues, thank goodness:) Took my girls there for their first time, like my Grandmom took me here 30 years ago. The same solid food choices as I remember. So good. My oldest daughter described the meal as "harmony". It was tasty, quick, had a huge selection and extremely affordable. This place is a wonderful experience.
Good food. Been coming here for years. Short staffed it seemed like. Food was delicious.
Lasagna was different....but good! It tasted like bbq sauce was in it. Cabbage was watered down. Macaroni was ok. The cheese didn’t really stick to the noodles. My yeast roll was the best I ever ate. Sweet potato pie wasn’t like the usual K n W. Couldn’t taste the potatoes in it. I gave a 5 only because I’m still completely satisfied with it all
K&W really came through for our family and friends on graduation day! Coming from out of town, we greatly appreciate the good hot tasty food K&W offers for large groups any time. As a business manager, I believe if you had offered a graduation special, there would have been no empty seats that day! Well done overall
The food is so good. We drove 3 hours to eat. Food was good. I didn't leave hungry. (They don't give a half a portion or a tad. They do a nice serving. The food was hot. I will come back. Apple pie is amazing. Also chocolate pudding is the best. The mashed potatoes were fluffy. They didn't season or salt it to death. This one you won't regret.
This K&W is a little bigger than the other ones located in Winston-Salem and is considered to be in a highly traffic area. There are many businesses surrounding this place so there is always someone hereeating. The food is great and the portions of food that they give you are pretty big and worth the money, so make sure when you order a normal sized meal that you are hungry if you plan on eating it all. The staff is nice and the restaurant is normally clean. I give it a 5 star
The baked spaghetti, okra and green beans was so on point. The restaurant was clean the staff was very friendly and I look forward to coming back again.. I personally did not like the macaroni and cheese.
I called and ordered a whole pineapple cake to serve for Easter Sunday to my dinner guest. The cake was dry and the pineapple taste like wax. I could not serve it to my guest after the first piece was cut since it was so dry and tasteless. I will be returning the cake tomorrow for a refund. I called several times to speak with a manager but was put on hold and no one came to the phone. I did this several times and got the same response so I will drive over tomorrow to personally speak to the manager. That cake was 25. Follow up: After going to the restaurant today to return my item I spoke with the manager on duty. She was very kind, understanding and polite. She refunded my money without a problem and apologized for my inconvenience. That in itself speaks volumes about the way they take care of their customers and for that I am grateful. I will continue to patronize their business when in the area. As I stated previously the customer service and food is always good. That's why I was disappointed when my item wasn't what I was used to. Thanks again and I will see you again in the near future. 5 stars for sure
